Frequently Asked Questions

1. Load your film

Open the back of your camera and insert a roll of 35mm film. Pull the film leader across and slot it into place, then close the back until it clicks.

2. Wind it on

Turn the winding wheel until it stops - this gets your camera ready to shoot. Press the photo button once, then wind the camera again until it stops. Your camera is now ready to shoot.

3. Take the photo

Point, click, and capture the moment. That’s it. No screens, no filters, just real life on film.

4. Wind after every shot

After each photo, turn the wheel again until it stops to move onto the next frame.

5. Finish the roll

Once you’ve used all 36 shots, rewind the film using the rewind wheel and remove it from the camera.

6. Get it developed

Take your film to a local photo lab or send it off to be developed and your memories will come back as prints or digital scans.

Top tips

  • Always use the flash for the best results.
  • Don’t open the back until the film is fully rewound.
  • Hand check it at the airport to avoid your photos being damaged by the scanners.

Because life feels better when it's lived off screen. You get a limited number of shots, so every photo means something. No scrolling back, no deleting, just real moments, exactly how they happened.
